So the other day after the completion of the Underpants Project, I was standing around with X (who is my late night cohort in crime, if you hadn't already guessed that) and she was trying on inventory items. She put on a random man skin, and it was the funniest thing Id seen.

It was at that moment I said, "we should do some cross dressing pictures." She agreed, b/c she's cool like that and plans started formulating.

I have a feeling we will do things like this more often, b/c we just started to get our brains around the look we were trying to achieve. We started off just throwing on man shapes, but dang it, we were still too pretty. Seriously, in the dresses we were wearing you could almost think we were still girls. Once we put on our MAN skins, things started falling into place.

After a stop to ZsaZsa's to get X some proper queen hair, we were on our way.

We ended up at the Iron Fist sim, in search of the elusive Church of Elvis, but alas, not ours to find. We did however find SOME inspiration. Some creative posing and a few locations later, we had ourselves a successfully disturbing photo shoot.

The results are nothing less than DISTURBING and I hope you all leave this post lost and confused.

Gifts

Sometimes we are given the most amazing gifts, and try as we might to fit them into every outfit, sometimes it doesnt work how we planned.

Today I am showcasing two of my favorite presents, given to me by the one and only Rocket Reich.





The mask I think is really meant to be a face chastity belt. I can give you a beej, but you wont like it.

Unless you will. In that case, weirdo.

The Walkman is a replica of one I actually OWNED in the 80s. I can almost feel its textured rubber buttons and its smooth yellow casing beneath my fingers. The 80's were amazing.

Anyway...the walkman rules. You click it, and it fills the room with snippets of songs that are sure to delight and enhance your SL experience.

Today I felt like showcasing my gifts, letting the world bask in the awesome of my presents...get it PRESENTS.

People I know make AWESOME SHIT!

I don't know how I have gotten so lucky to run into so many kick ass people in world, but for whatever reason I have, and I'm not giving them up. Nope. You cant have.

Yesterday was a big day for me, as I my inventory count rose once again due to the amazing creations of Alabama Smalls and xSaraho Mornington.

The first, sadly, is not for sale ANYWHERE so I consider myself to be doubly lucky to have them in my inventory. They be the Super Cute Full of Win Color Change Earmuffs Deluxe McCheese Burger (I named them myself) made by Alabama. Not only do they FIT my noggin like a glovesie, they also color change via touch. EACH MUFF CHANGES COLOR! You can have mismatched ear muffins! How is that not the most awesome thing ever? So the best random inventory acceptance ever and stuff. True Story. He he



The next two items I cant even begin to put into words the amount of awesome they are.

The first I spied while dancing the night away, thought it was full of awesome then immediately went to find out who the creator was, so I could immediately go and buy it. Imagine my surprise when not only the creator is someone on my friends list, but someone who I actually talk to on that list. OHWOEBEGOE!

So after much gushing I got ahold of her, slipped her some L and BLAMMO its MINE! I went home immediately, got rid of all my living room furniture and threw it down. Boy howdy is it full of amazingfasticticgoodrifficness.

So yeah, you can see why I was stoked beyond belief. Then she tells me casually that she also had replicas of tv show furniture. I then proably gushed about her awesomeness for a while, because I think people who make shit are the most amazing people ever.

Anyway, she shot me the picture for the Roseanne living room set and I about died. It was so awesome, I might have wet myself. I'll never tell. Of course, it's mine. I wont tell you how I came about it, but lets just say some things are better left unsaid.

COLOR!

So today's H.O.O.T.D (Hot Outfit of the Day, from now on its acronymed) is more cute than hot, but I love it anyway.

As stated in the previous post, this is an outfit inspired by the awesome earmuffs (they are color change!) slipped to me by Alabama Smalls. She's full of win, so when she slipped me these muffs, well, they went on and I knew then and there an outfit would be centered around them.

Its weird how some things just fall into place. The only thing that was inspired at the last minute is the bra, which I was directed to by the previously blogged about by the Fabulous Ms X.

The Underpants Project

So I was standing around with my friend Xavia Naidoo tontie, putting together an outfit inspired by the awesometastic earmuffs that were slipped to me by Alabama Smalls (who by the way is way awesome).

As my outfit was falling into place, x suggested we take some pictures together. I'm down with it...anyone who has seen my flickr KNOWS that I loves the pictures.

The results are nothing less than spectacular. Who knew I would actually be able to find a use for the dinosaur pose I bought from Pudge.

So I'm standing in the trailer park talking to one of my neighbors, and I notice she has some rockin boobs goin on. Being the pervo that I am, I comment, "Nice boobs". to which she replied something to the effect of, "thanks why don't you blog about them".

She threw down the gauntlet, I accepted the challenge.

In Communist Russia

In Second Life, you can!

And I do!

Who cares if I live in a shed IRL and have to poop outside! In my SL I have a very nice trailer and a run down house of my own! True story!

My Main home is a nice single wide on the Car Wash sim. I have it furnished modestly with enough edible furniture to choke a moose. It is so cute sometimes I cant even stand it, and it screams, "OMG I LOVE CUPPINCAKES"...at least it would if I knew how to script. Floatie Hock who runs this sim, was nice enough to let me texture the place myself...therefore it is full on Three and full on awesome.



My Vacation home, and mainstore location live on the Seasons sim. It seems to be winter so far, but that might change. Mainstore you ask. Yes! Mainstore. I sell my drivers RL photography (or at least try to) under the moniker 3m Photography. Well after plunking down my shop I had tons of room left over (not to mention prims) so I plunked a house down, hoboed it out, and the rest is SLhistory.



So there it is. Some people have two mommies, I have two houses.

I'm SLwealthy and SLfabulous.

Lazy Punk

So last night, instead of going to bed like I should have, I teeped back over to Black Maria b/c I am obsessed with the hair, with every intention to buy some new head candy, when lo and behold my letter was up on the lucky board for a different hair! I clicked faster than you can say something that you say really fast.

Oh was I excited. I unpacked it, put it on, and admired myself. Ooh, so tough! So I figured this would be a good time to break out the tank tops my SL S/O had given me earlier in the day and to test out some of the jeans I picked up at Ducknipple. Being that I am lacking in the shoe inventory, I lazily kept the same shoes I had on the day before, and found an abandoned subway car for pictastic awesomeness.

I felt like this Hot Outfit was just an interpretation of yesterday H.O., but felt it needed to be shared anyway. It was, after all, HOT!

Gender Bender

So today generated TWO hot outfits, but I'll start with the one I've worn most of the day and inspired by my RL and SL love of buying men's clothes.

Along with mens clothes, I've found that mens hair can be oh so awesome for the ladies. This discovery was made the other day when I was teleported to a store called Find Ash. Well, I couldn't find ash, but Ash certainly found my L! I've so far ended up with three super faboo hairstyles from the, and I'm sure I'll end up back for more.

Another store that sees lots of my L is Grandma's . I <3 Grandma's so very much, and in the end I'm sure I'll own the entire inventory. Luckily things are VERY reasonably priced! Thank goodness for small miracles.

Best.Random.Teep.EVER

I have quite a few people on my friends list, as I'm sure we all do. Some of them you know well, some of them are new, some are old, and well some of them...you dont even remember who the hell they are, but you don't remove them for fear you will hurt their feelings or one day you WILL remember who they are and feel bad.

Anyway, the other day I friended an av by the name of Glamouramama Boa. She entertained herself by making my tail talk, and I figured anyone who could so happily tug a strange av's tail could and should very well be my friend. So I tentatively offered friendship, and she accepted and YAY! FRIENDS!

Today I received a teep from her that said something about the best 5 minutes I could spend in SL, so I was like...must be an orgy, and against my better judgment hit teleport.

What greeted me was an amazing sight. Video screens upon video screens. I was instructed to sit down and did so happily, especially since everyone had their clothes on! At first I was confused, but I caught on fast enough, and lets just say...Best.Random.Tee.EVER.

Period.

Way it works, you click this box and then are instructed to drop a youtube link into open chat. The video will then play on all screens around you. And not only is it multiple screens, they are places so it creates a kaleidoscope effect, and if you plug the right link, you get quite the experience.



The owner of the place teeped in while we were there, and he was super nice. Of Course I cant remember his name right now, but I can give you slurl for the awesome.

Jersey Girl Punk Style

My Hot Outfit of the Day was inspired and centered around the awesome Maria hair found at Black Maria. Yesterday I wore the black version I paid cold hard L for, the one featured today is mine due to Lucky Board stalking. And let me tell you, stalking aint easy. When the letter T came up, my heart practically stopped and I clicked it so fast my head spun. Adrenaline rush!

Once it was mine, however, I was hit with the realization that I now needed clothes in order to wear it properly. Luckily last night before I went to bed, I hopped over to the Vagabond sim, fought enough lag to kill most grown men and grabbed the free gift from Comatose, and boy was I glad for that!

After putting the top on, and a few wardrobe adjustments I was pleased with my final look.

Sigh.

Oh that Justin Timberlake, ingraining himself into my damn blog titles. He knows what he does, oh yes he do. I shake my fist at you Justin Timberlake!

Call Me!

Now that I've gotten that off my chest, lets get to the point of this post. I've been in Second Life for the past year, and over that year I have become deeply and madly obsessed with my AV. I bought my shape in Mid December 2007, and aside from a few minor changes along the way, its the shape I've worn ever since.

I go through avatar crisis every now and then, wondering if I should make my eyes smaller so I can wear eyelashes, hand teetering on the height adjustment slider...but in the end, I can't imagine changing Three.

The love affair with my av is starting to cost me lots of L in shopping trips. This produces much hair, clothes, skins but not as many shoes as one would imagine. I'm a big fan of freebies, and a big fan of freebie blogs, mainly Free*Style and My Second Life on the D List. The bloggers there point me to places I wouldn't have found myself, and I end up spending real L while picking up the freebs. Defeats the purpose of freebies I'm sure, but I just cant help myself.

Anyway, I've digressed...AGAIN. Lets make this short and sweet.

I spend a lot of money to look hot, therefore I will post my "my hot outfit of the day" as a regular feature. I can see you all trembling with anticipation. I cant blame you.
